- Tuesday, October 2, Faith, Food and Fellowship at 6:30 p.m. at the Newman Center will be led by Carl Wertin, our seminarian, on the topic of Vocations, more specifically the priesthood and religious life. Carl will also share his personal story on how he is being called to the priesthood. Not to be missed. Bring a friend and if possible, a snack to share.
- Carl also invites young adults to join him on the annual Diocesan Pilgrimage for Vocations to San Luis, CO together with our bishop Isern next Saturday, Oct. 6. For those who prayerfully want to discern their vocation in life and want to pray for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life. For more info call Carl directly at 719-252-4349.
- Last, but not, least, ALL students, regardless of faith tradition are invited to the annual Catholic Campus Ministry Retreat from Oct. 19-21 together with students of 4 different Newman Clubs of our diocese (Mesa State, CSU Pueblo, Adams State, Western State) at Ponderosa Lodge in Salida, CO. Don't miss this opportunity to get away, reflect on our Christian virtues (theme), pray, enjoy each other's company, celebrate the sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation and so much more. Register by OCT. 2. Cost is $ 35 but scholarships are available. Please, see attached registration form or register tomorrow after Mass or on Tuesday during FFF.
